Introduction

Hi. I'm just a guy who happens to own an airplane. A very nice airplane. An airplane made by Mooney Aircraft in Kerrville, Texas. I and another pilot have owned the plane since 2000. It is a 1980 model J, so it has been around for awhile but it is still in great shape.

I am also an avid amateur photographer. I shoot a Nikon D70, with the "kit" 18-70mm zoom lens and one of my favorite toys, the 70-200mm f/2.8 vibration reduction ("VR") lens. I also have a 50mm f/1.4 lens that gives exquisite results in low light situations.

I am a rather private person, and will not post many things of a personal nature. But I hope that the things I place here will be of interest to lots of people beyond just "what I did today".
